Stayed at campground about 3 years ago. Our stay was for 2 weeks. Enjoyed the campground. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a few miles to beach. Nice area. Drove down to KSC for the day. Have a good time.

When in the Williamsburg area, We always stay at American Heritage. Nice campsite and friendly staff. Have gone to Busch Gardens last year. As we travel with our dog, we boarded him at the kennel at Busch Gardens. Going back occassionaly to walk him. Park at the kennel. Next to the kennel is a pedestrian bridge that takes you to the main gate. Not a far walk. Lots to see in the area. You will have a nice time.

RE: Best VA Beach Campground for MH & Trailer
When going to VA beach Area, we stay at the Holiday Trav-l Park. Site #36 is the biggest site I have stayed in. It is very long and lots of space between neighboring sites. The staff is very helpful.

RE: winterizing - don't want to use antifreeeze
Why not use your on board water pump to pump out the water lines? Then pump in anti freeze to make sure nothing freezes. It's a small investment that will same you from problems later on.

Tubes in wheel well. That are they??
It was a beautiful weekend here in Virginia. Spent the weekend washing and waxing Moho. Took time to inspect the underbelly. At the top of right rear wheel, I found 2 flexable tubes abount 1/2" in diameter exiting about 1 1/2 inches. This is just under the bathroom area. Any ideas what they might be for ? Just curious.
I have a 2003 four wind hurricane.

RE: Cleaning Awnings or Slide Toppers
I use any cleaner(like Clorex, Mr. Clean)that comes in or can be put in a spray bottle. Open the awning slightly wet down top and bottom. Spray cleaner on. Roll up awning letting it sit for 15-20 minutes. Unroll, scrub down with long handle brush and rinse. Let dry.

Holiday Travel Park Myrtle Beach
Planning our first trip to this campground during summer of '09. For those who have camped at this campground, what site location(s) would you recommend. We do not have to be "on the beach". Just dw,myseld and our 2 small dogs. Much Thanks. Happy camping.

Target has a variety of converter boxes. Most are pass thru. Read the box cover, not all have the pass thru feature.

RE: Black tank odor
The smell may not be the black tank but be the grey water tank. Check to make sure all your drain traps have water in them. As mentioned above my bathroom sink empties into the black tank.
